4,00 PM Ana Domančić Krstulović – President of Glazbena mladež Split/Musical Youth Split i Marin Kaporelo – Director of Glazbena mladež Split/Musical Youth Split, present the programme of 22nd International Choral Festival – Music Department of the Art Academy of the University of Split (Visoka – Fausta Vrančića 19, Split).

4,15 PM Zdenka Weber, PhD (musicologist and diplomat) – lecture Claude Debussy and Croatian Music – Music Department of the Art Academy of the University of Split (Visoka – Fausta Vrančića 19, Split).

Saturday, 1 December 2018  

6,00 – 7,00 PM Winter Aquarelle – Starting of first candle and Advent opening in Split / guest choirs of the Festival take part – Djardin, open stage.

12:00 Round table/forum – Choral incubator – conversation with composers, conductors, jury members, choir representatives about the problems of choral composition and coral work in Croatia and abroad. – Ivan Mestrovic Museum (Šetalište Ivana Meštrovića 46, Split)

7:00 PM Final competition – Canticum novum – Croatian National Theatre in Split (Trg Gaje Bulata 1, Split).

Host festival - City Split

 
Host festival is the city Split, the second largest city in Croatia. The city center of Split is the old Diocletian's palace from the 4th century AD (under UNESCO’s protection since 1979), which makes it a unique example in the world. Split is an important Croatian, Mediterranean cultural center, second largest university center in Croatia and after Zagreb has the highest number of diplomatic, consular or representative offices of international organizations in Croatia.
